Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition, which mirrors the Redmi Note 15 5G model available in China. The device boasts a 50MP primary rear camera and a 5,800mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 15 Special Edition is offered in three colors: Crimson Reserve, Carbon Black, and Frosted White. The Crimson Reserve version features a faux-leather rear panel, enhancing its physical appeal.
This model is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset alongside an Adreno 710 GPU. Users can configure the device with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 20MP front camera. It is distinct from the global variant, which has a 108MP main camera.
The phone sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display supports peak brightness of 3,200 nits and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
Battery life is supported by a 5,800mAh battery, featuring 45W fast charging. The device runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, integrating various functionalities for enhanced user experience.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner, IP55 and IP66 ratings for water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification. It also includes an infrared sensor and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Connectivity options consist of dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, and dual 4G VoLTE. The starting price for the device is set at INR 19,999 ($215) for the 6GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models will retail at INR 21,999 ($235) and INR 22,999 ($250), respectively.
