Spotify is launching guided workout experiences to enhance user fitness routines, available for both Free and Premium subscribers across multiple platforms.
The new feature aims to integrate fitness into the user experience, allowing workouts to be accessed through a dedicated Fitness hub, the Browse all tab, or by searching for “fitness.” This move is designed to attract users interested in diversifying their audio service usage.
The initial guided workouts include contributions from prominent fitness creators such as Yoga with Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, and Sophiereidfit. Users can choose from both video and audio-only formats.

In the Fitness hub, workouts are organized into categories to facilitate easy selection, such as Cardio: Floor, Cardio: Outdoor, Yoga, and Pilates. This organization aims to simplify the user experience when searching for specific workout types.
In addition, Spotify has formed a partnership with Peloton, granting Premium subscribers access to a catalog of 1,400 on-demand classes. These classes encompass a wide range of workouts, including outdoor runs and structured mat classes that cover strength, cardio, yoga, and meditation.
The Peloton classes, available without requiring Peloton equipment, diversify Spotify’s offerings and align with its goal to expand beyond traditional music streaming. The company stated that this partnership will feature well-known instructors, including Rebecca Kennedy, Ally Love, and Rad Lopez.
