Google has announced enhancements to the cropping tool in Google Photos, introducing smoother animations for rotating, dragging, and adjusting aspect ratios.
The improvements aim to streamline users’ image editing experience while addressing critical bugs that affected functionality. The updates reflect Google’s ongoing commitment to enhance its basic editing features alongside its AI-driven tools.
Notably, the company resolved a significant bug that caused unexpected flipping or shape changes when users rotated and cropped images simultaneously. Another fix tackled an issue where the image preview would shrink when adjusting crop handles.
