The release of the next Mac Studio and MacBook Pro may be delayed due to a global memory shortage. Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman reported that at least two upcoming Apple products could debut later than initially planned.
The next Mac Studio was expected to launch mid-year but is now facing delays, as Apple contends with shortages of existing stock, driven by high demand from users running local AI models. Gurman predicted that the refreshed Mac Studio could be postponed until October.
Similarly, the release of the anticipated touchscreen MacBook Pro may also experience setbacks. Gurman initially suggested a timeline of late 2026 to early 2027 for the new MacBook Pro, but has revised this, indicating a likely later arrival.
